Locum Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician job in Burns, OR - Make $200/hr - $220/hr

A temporary locum tenens assignment lasting 13 weeks, starting 21 September 2026 at a critical-access facility in Burns, Oregon.

About the role

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine exams, diagnostic procedures, surgical interventions, and patient counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life.
• Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, cesarean sections, and minimally invasive surgeries (scope of practice dependent).
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of women’s health conditions.
• Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.
• Stay current on the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in obstetrics and gynecology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the AOA.
• Active and unrestricted Oregon medical license.
• At least one year of clinical or hospital experience providing obstetric and gynecological care (preferred).

Schedule

• 13-week assignment beginning 21 September 2026.
• Standard 5-day, 8-hour shifts (08:00–17:00) plus on-call coverage.

Pay

$200–$220 per hour.
