Locum Obstetrics Gynecologist

About the Role

This locum tenens OBGYN position involves providing hospital-based obstetric and gynecologic care, including:

• Vaginal deliveries
• C-sections
• Suction D&C
• Management of ectopic pregnancies
• Ovarian torsion
• Abnormal bleeding

The provider will handle unreferred patients for deliveries and rounding in a facility with 9 beds in Labor & Delivery and 20 postpartum beds. Support is provided by an OBHG hospitalist team, surgical assistants, and nurses.

Responsibilities

• Cover both hospital call and clinic duties (if required)
• On-call ratio of 1:4
• Documentation via EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Board certification in OBGYN
• Active Virginia medical license
• BLS certification
• ABOG certification
