About the role
Seeking an experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN) for inpatient coverage at a small healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage
- Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Manage obstetric and gynecologic cases
- Complete clinical documentation via EPIC EMR
- Respond within 20 minutes to hospital calls
No ICU duties or code responses required.
Requirements
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is mandatory
- Prior inpatient obstetric experience preferred
Work Details
- Conduct shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM
- Cover approximately 28-34 deliveries monthly
- Role is on-site, with structured protocols supporting continuous patient care
The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, the ability to work independently during extensive shifts, and be prepared for orientation prior to initial shift.
