Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Surgery - Trauma

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Trauma Surgery for an inpatient, OR, and ER setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma surgery services, including rounding, consults, ICU, ER coverage, and operating room procedures
• Support the trauma team alongside other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and Medical Assistants (MAs)
• Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR and maintain prescriptive authority
• Cover 12-hour day shifts with no call responsibilities

Requirements

• ATLS certification
• Board certification (negotiable)
• Strong clinical skills in trauma care and hospital protocols
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment
