About the role
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner with Trauma Surgery expertise to provide inpatient, OR, and ER coverage at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
- Performing rounds, consults, ICU and ER coverage, and operating room procedures
- Supporting trauma surgery services alongside a team of 6 APPs and 6 MAs
- Managing a variable patient load for all ages using eClinicalWorks EMR
- Prescriptive authority required
- No call responsibilities; 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Qualifications
- ATLS certification preferred
- Experience in high-acuity trauma care
- Strong clinical, rounding, and consultative skills
- Ability to work independently within established protocols
