About the role
Seeking a Locum Non-Invasive Cardiologist for an outpatient practice in Vermont. The site has 61 beds, no ICU beds, and partners with a hospital for ECHO/EKG reads. The current cardiologist is retiring, leaving no other cardiologists on staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography and EKGs
- Manage adult patients in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with 2 APRNs and utilize Cerner EMR
- Cover 3-5 days weekly with no call
- Treat approximately 16 patients daily
- Supervise diagnostic procedures
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology
- CPR, DEA, ACLS, and BLS (AHA) certifications
- Open to candidates needing to obtain Vermont medical license
