Locum IR and Diagnostic Radiologist

About the role

We are seeking a Locum Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist to provide coverage outside Lexington, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tubes, CT/US-guided biopsies, arthrograms, lumbar punctures, and fluoroscopic exams (e.g., Barium Swallow and Upper GI).
• Read diagnostic exams across inpatient routine, stroke, and other routine cases.
• Productivity expectation of 55 RVUs per shift.
• Division of duties: IR/Fluoro (10%), CT (35%), MR (5%), US (5%), XR (40%), Mammo (~5%).
• Work utilizes RPCE Tech Stack and PowerScribe 4.0.

Requirements

• Active Kentucky medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility within 5 years.
