Locum Interventional Radiologist

Seeking a Locum Interventional Radiologist to provide coverage near Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include performing procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, nephrostomies, gastrostomies, embolizations, IVC filters, fistulagrams with declots, and biliary and venous interventions. Experience with general fluoroscopy procedures is a plus, as IR covers fluoro during day shifts and on-call. Qualifications required are a completed Interventional Radiology Fellowship and ABR Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology certification. Knowledge of Powerscribe 1 dictation is preferred. Key duties involve managing an estimated annual volume of 5,124 cases, maintaining a minimum productivity of 61 RVUs per shift, and participating in rotating call and holiday coverage. Compensation includes competitive hourly pay, housing, travel, and malpractice insurance with tail coverage. Additional incentives include a $2000 referral bonus for referrals working 160 hours.
