Locum Hematologist/Oncologist

About the role

This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care, including rounding, managing an established clinic, and handling oncology hospital patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care
• Round on patients and manage an established clinic
• Handle oncology hospital patients
• Complete online time entry
• Manage established patient cases
• Participate in call coverage, including 1-2 weeknight beeper calls per week and shared weekend call among providers

Requirements

• BLS certification

Qualifications

Preferred experience in lymphoma or cell therapy.

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5 pm (guaranteed 10-hour days)
• Approximately 11 patients per shift
• 1-2 weeknight beeper calls per week
• Shared weekend call among providers
