Locum CRNA

About the role

We are seeking a Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with strong obstetric (OB) anesthesia experience and regional anesthesia certification preferred. The position involves managing a high OB census with approximately 200 deliveries annually and an average of 150 cases per month in a 30-bed facility.

The provider will work in a mostly autonomous environment, including solo call responsibilities, functioning as a primary or secondary call provider during nights and weekends. The care team model features a 1:3 MD to CRNA ratio, with support staff present daily.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume OB anesthesia cases (200 deliveries annually, ~150 cases/month).
• Provide solo call coverage, including nights and weekends.
• Serve as primary or secondary call provider with a call callback rate exceeding 50%.
• Work autonomously within a care team model (1:3 MD to CRNA ratio).

Requirements

• Active North Carolina (NC) license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) for expedited processing.
• Ability to demonstrate case logs for regional and OB procedures.
• Strong OB anesthesia experience; regional anesthesia certification preferred.

Schedule

• Shifts vary between 8, 10, or 12 hours, Monday through Friday.
• Pager call coverage required.
