Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon

This role involves providing 24-hour call coverage as a cardiothoracic surgeon at a Level II trauma center with advanced cardiothoracic surgical capabilities. The clinician will manage approximately 10-12 patients weekly, including 3-5 consults and 1-3 surgeries per week, mainly cardiac and thoracic cases. Responsibilities include performing cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, supported by a team comprising an APP, MA, MOS, and RN. The position requires prescriptive authority and involves on-site work with call coverage.
