Locum Cardiologist

About the role

We are seeking a licensed MD for inpatient cardiovascular coverage on a 24-hour call basis. You will provide on-site patient care, including rounding and consults, and manage adult cardiovascular cases. Support staff includes Advanced Practice Providers to assist during the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site inpatient cardiovascular care, including rounding and consults
• Manage a variable patient load within an inpatient setting
• Ensure quality care delivery for adult cardiovascular cases

Requirements

• Board certification in cardiovascular medicine
• Availability for 24-hour call coverage
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Qualifications

• Experience with echocardiography, stress testing, EKG, nuclear cardiology, and transesophageal echocardiography (advantageous)
• Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular medicine
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
