Locum Cardiologist

About the Role

This position is for a Board-Certified Cardiovascular Disease specialist providing inpatient cardiovascular care in a hospital-based facility. The role involves covering 1-2 weeks per month, ensuring effective cardiovascular management within established clinical protocols. The clinician will work day shifts with a call ratio of 2:4.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, EKGs, and treadmill stress tests.
• Provide inpatient and clinic-based cardiovascular care.
• Adhere to established clinical protocols for patient management.
• Participate in call responsibilities as scheduled.

Requirements

• Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Comfort with call responsibilities.
