Locum Cardiologist

About the Role

This position involves providing inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on inpatient rounds, consults, and hospital call duties. The provider will manage 13-18 patients per shift, perform echocardiography and pacemaker placements, and conduct ICU procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient rounds, consults, and call coverage
• Manage 1-3 new admissions daily
• Perform echocardiography and pacemaker placements
• Handle 4-6 phone consultations within 24 hours
• Participate in both inpatient and outpatient rounding

Requirements

• ICU experience required
• Proficiency in echocardiography and pacemaker procedures
• Ability to manage multiple patients and consults efficiently
