Locum Cardiac Anesthesia Coverage

About the role

This role involves providing anesthesia services in an inpatient setting, handling both inpatient and outpatient cases with a focus on open heart, thoracic, vascular, neuro, OB, and trauma procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performing regional blocks, spinal, and epidural anesthesia
• Placing arterial and central lines
• Managing 5 to 8 patients per shift during ongoing assignments
• Participating in call duties, including inpatient and outpatient scenarios
• Providing anesthesia care, managing complex cases, and supporting various surgical procedures
• Utilizing online tools for assignment details and documentation
• Receiving comprehensive support, including credentialing, travel, housing, and malpractice coverage

Qualifications

• TEE certification (basic or advanced)
• Experience in regional anesthesia, arterial, and central line placement
• Availability of 1-2 weeks per month with weekend flexibility
