Locum Anesthesiologist

About the role

Versatile physician role with a focus on emergency and general care in a busy hospital setting. You will provide coverage in a Level 1 Pediatric Emergency Department with access to 15 operating rooms, handling trauma, OB, neuro, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic, and pediatric cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and general care in a Level 1 Pediatric Emergency Department
• Respond to pager calls within 20 minutes
• Maintain malpractice insurance
• Manage assignment details via an online portal
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare consultant

Requirements

• Board certification
• Certifications in ATLS, PALS, ACLS, and BLS
• Ability to work flexible shifts averaging 8-10 hours, totaling over 40 hours weekly

Pay

Compensation ranges from $300 to $400 per hour, factoring in experience and position needs.
