Locum Anesthesiologist

About the role

Provide comprehensive anesthesia services in a hospital setting, managing a diverse case mix that includes:

• General surgery
• Cardiac (including CABG and valve surgeries)
• Dermatology
• ENT
• GI
• GYN
• Neurosurgery
• Ophthalmology
• Orthopedics
• Plastics
• Podiatry
• Pulmonary
• Thoracic
• Radiology
• Urology
• Vascular
• Obstetrics (approximately 1,080 deliveries annually)

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures
• Perform on-site anesthesia procedures
• Provide beeper call coverage (requirements negotiable)

Requirements

• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Experience managing complex cases across multiple surgical specialties
• Supervision and medical direction experience preferred

About the team

Support staff includes physicians and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). The patient population encompasses all age groups. The staffing model involves physician supervision, with support provided through a dedicated clinician deployment team.
