Locum Anesthesiologist

Seeking a Board-Certified Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist for an ongoing inpatient role at a Level I trauma and academic medical center. Deliver specialized cardiovascular anesthesia for complex cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart surgeries.Conduct pre-operative assessments, manage intraoperative anesthesia, and coordinate post-operative care.Provide 24-hour call coverage with availability for emergency procedures.Must have TEE certification; cardiac anesthesiology fellowship preferred.Work alongside a team including critical care MDs, general MDs, and CRNAs in a high-acuity environment.Handle all ages, with a focus on high-complexity cardiac cases, in a on-site setting.Perform 100% hands-on anesthesia with prescriptive authority, under a cardiac anesthesia specialty model. Qualifications & Skills Board certification in anesthesiology.Experience in cardiac anesthesia, including open heart and structural procedures.TEE certification required.Strong assessment, intraoperative management, and post-op coordination skills.Flexibility for 24-hour call and emergency coverage.
