About the role
Seeking an Anesthesiologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services across general, orthopedic, and OB procedures in an operating room environment.
- Supervise CRNAs under a 1:4 MD to CRNA model across 8 ORs.
- Deliver care during day shifts, with on-call responsibilities including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
- Manage a variable case load for patients of all ages.
- Obtain temporary privileges within 30-60 days.
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care in a structured perioperative workflow.
- Participate in on-site patient care with support from CRNAs.
- Engage in call coverage and maintain flexibility for emergency needs.
Requirements
- Board certification (negotiable).
- Prescriptive authority required.
- Strong supervision and medical direction capabilities.
- Ability to work independently in a multi-specialty surgical setting.
