Locum Anesthesiologist

About the role

We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team in a community hospital setting. This day-shift position provides comprehensive anesthesia services for a diverse caseload, including trauma, neonatal, general surgery, thoracic, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage anesthesia care for patients across all age groups, from neonatal to adult
• Perform ventilation management and arterial line insertions
• Operate in both solo practice and supervision of CRNAs, with 50% hands-on involvement
• Exercise prescriptive authority and provide supervision or medical direction

Requirements

• Board certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Strong clinical expertise in managing complex cases
• Collaborative care skills for multidisciplinary team environments

Credentialing process typically takes 60-90 days. No call duties are required.
