About the role
We are seeking a qualified MD anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage at a critical access hospital.
Responsibilities
- Providing anesthesia services for a variety of cases, including OR and OB procedures such as Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Podiatry, General Surgery, ENT, and OB.
- Performing spinal, block, and epidural anesthesia with proficiency.
- Managing cases in a on-site facility with a diverse caseload.
- Being available for call coverage from 3 PM to 7 AM.
- Supervising medical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Board certification in anesthesia.
- Prescriptive authority.
- Experience with spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia techniques.
- Ability to handle various surgical cases and work independently under supervision.
