Locum Anesthesiologist

About the role

We are seeking an anesthesiologist to provide coverage in a hospital setting with day and night shifts, including call duties. The role involves overseeing anesthesia care under a medical direction model, supporting a team of CRNAs with approximately 50% hands-on involvement. This position offers a dynamic, physician-led environment with a growing team of five MDs and over twenty CRNAs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative anesthesia services across diverse surgical cases for adult patients
• Oversee anesthesia care under a medical direction model
• Support and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of CRNAs and other healthcare professionals
• Exercise prescriptive authority as required
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety in anesthesia practice

Requirements

• Board certification in anesthesiology (negotiable)
• Flexibility in scheduling, including day, night, and call shifts
