Locksmith / Sr Carpenter - Engineering

Job Summary

Maintains repairs and constructs hospital buildings, structures and furniture built of a wide variety of materials to ensure good appearance and optimal functioning.

Reports to: Carpentry Foreman.

Installs/builds/tears down various materials to meet project specifications. May include foundations, walls, floors ceilings, counters, work stations, partitions, doors, glass windows, trim and molding, hardware repairs and locksmithing.

Ensures all work is completed to meet applicable codes, standards and plans.

Qualifications

• Completion of apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• 1 year of carpentry experience
• Healthcare or Commercial carpentry experience preferred.
