Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcome members, guests, and PGA professionals in a warm, professional manner.
- Provide exceptional food and beverage service, including taking orders, preparing and serving beverages, delivering food, and maintaining bar service standards.
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the locker room, lounge, and bar areas.
- Aid guests with lockers, facility orientation, and personalized service requests.
- Monitor guest activity and anticipate needs to provide a high level of hospitality.
- Restock towels, toiletries, beverages, and other guest amenities throughout the day.
- Perform shoe care services, including cleaning, polishing, spike replacement, and minor lace repairs.
- Operate laundry equipment and maintain an adequate inventory of clean towels and linens.
- Aid with inventory control by monitoring locker room and bar supplies and communicating replenishment needs.
- Support tournaments, weddings, member events, and special functions as needed.
- Work closely with Golf Operations, Food & Beverage, and Clubhouse teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality, restaurant, bar, private club, country club, golf facility, or customer service experience preferred.
- Bartending and food & beverage service experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Able to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, tournaments, and special events.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must meet all requirements for serving alcoholic beverages in South Carolina.
