About the role
The Location Office Administrator supports the day-to-day operations of the Three Rivers FS Company. This role includes performing billing functions, maintaining inventory, answering telephones, and supporting staff in project-based work.
Responsibilities
- Perform billing functions, including making blend tickets, invoicing customers, posting payments, and preparing daily cash deposits.
- Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory of all products (fuel, propane, fertilizer, chemical, and seed).
- Answer telephones and respond to customer inquiries.
- Act as liaison for salesmen and customers.
- Able to work with company software and Microsoft Office products.
- Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Support staff in assigned project-based work.
- Exercise initiatives or as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.
Requirements

- Education and/or Experience: Knowledge of standardized rules, procedures or operations requiring considerable training and experience to perform the full range of standard assignments and resolve reoccurring problems. Associates Degree plus 1 – 3 years of prior Agricultural office experience.
- Scope: Responsible for own work only; some direct or indirect control over expenses and revenue generation; may make some budgetary recommendations; accountable for results of own work.
- Guidelines: Number and similarity of guidelines requires use of independent judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines or reference; some interpretation required.
- Complexity: The work consists of duties that involve various related steps, processes or methods. The decision regarding what needs to be done involves various choices requiring the employee to recognize the existence of and differences among recognizable situations. Actions to be taken or responses to be made differ in such things as the source of information, the kind of transactions or entries or other differences of a factual nature.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
