About the role
The Location Manager oversees the operations and maintenance of the school bus yard in Yonkers, NY. This position ensures that all vehicles are properly maintained and ready for daily operations.Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee the cleanliness and organization of the school bus yard.
- Ensure all buses are in good working condition and safely stored.
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of bus routes.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of buses, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding bus services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar operational management role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
