Local Sales Representative - East
About the role
We are seeking part-time sales representatives with existing relationships in the commercial construction industry. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in roles such as project managers, project executives, or estimators. They also have a network they can activate without starting from zero, understanding of construction project phases and closeout processes, and credibility when meeting with project executives or facilities directors.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue opportunities with general contractors and building owners in your market.
- Reach out to contacts you already know and build new relationships through local industry events, trade associations, and targeted outreach.
- Develop relationships with project executives, project managers, owner's representatives, facilities directors, and capital project managers.
- Qualify opportunities based on project size, timeline, and fit.
- Set up initial meetings and facilitate introductions between prospects and the BuildingWorks team.
- Participate in discovery calls, help prepare proposals, and support the sales process through contract signing.
- Track active and upcoming construction projects in your market.

Benefits
No benefits or base salary. Earnings are based on the contract value of projects you originate, ranging from $15,000 to $40,000+. Commission rates are discussed during the interview process and depend on your level of involvement in the sales cycle.

Schedule
