Local Route Driver- Home Every Night! (Permanent/Full-Time)
About the role
Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, is the tenth largest food service distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers.
As a Route Driver, you will deliver and unload 600-1,200 cases per day using a dolly at designated stops. Routes are local, allowing you to be home with your family every night and on weekends. Dispatch is typically between 3:00 and 5:00 am, Monday through Friday.
Our fleet is equipped with the latest safety technology, including adaptive braking and collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All trucks are new with automatic transmissions for a smooth ride.
Requirements
- Valid Texas Class A CDL
- At least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Pay
Average yearly pay is $60,000–$90,000, with additional bonuses:
- $1,500 referral bonus (after employment)
- Annual safety bonuses of up to $8,000
