Local Delivery Driver (Full-Time)

Job Summary This delivery role involves operating a tractor-trailer to deliver and unload products, ensuring excellent customer service while adhering to DOT and safety regulations. Overtime, weekend, holiday work, and early mornings are required to meet customer needs. Responsibilities Deliver products within assigned routes and communicate any deviations to management.Unload items manually or with equipment, placing them in designated areas, often in challenging weather conditions.Frequently lift and move weights up to 75-100 pounds, reaching up to 72 inches for stacking pallets.Perform bending, twisting, and verifying deliveries, obtaining signatures, and managing invoice discrepancies.Handle cash or checks when necessary, and manage damaged goods and returns with proper documentation.Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, DOT logs, and maintain vehicle and equipment safety.Follow safety protocols, maintain cleanliness, and operate equipment safely.Attend company meetings and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED.Preferred: 2 years local food/beverage delivery experience and pallet/hand cart expertise.Must be 21+, possess a valid driver’s license, and meet insurability standards.One year of commercial driving experience or completion of driver training program if applicable.Proficiency in English, basic math skills, and ability to communicate effectively.
