Local Delivery Driver (Full-Time)

Job Summary Responsible for delivering and unloading products via tractor-trailer to customers, ensuring excellent customer service while adhering to safety, DOT, and company policies. Overtime, weekends, holidays, and early mornings are required to meet customer needs. Responsibilities Deliver products within assigned routes and communicate any deviations.Unload items manually or with equipment, placing them in designated areas, often in all weather conditions.Lift, push, or move items weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds, frequently reaching up to 72” for stacking pallets.Perform bending, twisting, and retrieving activities during loading/unloading.Verify deliveries, obtain signatures, and handle discrepancies or returns.Collect payments when required and complete related paperwork.Manage damaged goods and returns, performing pre-trip and post-trip duties per DOT regulations.Operate equipment safely, maintain vehicle and trailer cleanliness, and follow safety procedures.Attend meetings and perform additional assigned duties. Qualifications High school diploma or GED.Preferred: 2 years local food/beverage delivery experience, pallet breakdown, and hand cart delivery.Must be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, and have at least 1-year commercial driving experience.Pass employment tests; internal candidates may complete a driver training program instead of experience.Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently for safety and communication.
