Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

About the role

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a dynamic and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our team in Green Bay, WI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering compressed gas cylinders, hard goods, and associated products to various customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day
• Touch freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• Build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers
• Ensure accountability through collaboration and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent truck driving school certification
• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Current Hazmat Endorsement on CDL (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or other moving violations in the past 2 years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
• Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• High School or GED diploma
• At least 21 years old
• Effective organizational, listening, and communication skills
• Personal ownership for safety and active contribution to a strong safety culture

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling

Pay

Pay range: $28 - $30 per hour
