Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)
What you will enjoy doing
- You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- You are expected to complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
- You will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing, plus other duties as assigned
What Makes You Great
- You have a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading and writing in English
- You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A or B CDL
- This role requires you to be 21 years or older
- You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire
- You are expected to not have any preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
- You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required
