Local Delivery Driver - CDL A

About the role

This position delivers to all types of customers including Foodservice. The role involves driving the delivery vehicle, stocking product on store shelves, displays, coolers, and vending equipment, setting up promotional materials, generating invoices, and settling cash and charges.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and loads cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly during work hours
• Pushes/pulls using from 40 - 150 pounds of force, occasionally
• Reaches, squats, bends while delivering and merchandising products in the store
• Unloads pallets of product from the delivery vehicle with an electronic pallet jack or 2 wheel hand truck
• Operates equipment like pallet jacks, lift gates, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.
• Documents DOT regulations

Requirements

• 21 years or older
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (California locations except Stockton)
• Pass the DOT drug test and DOT Physical

Basics

• Operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license
• Adhering to all DOT regulations
• Merchandising products
• Using equipment to aid in hauling loads
• Operating equipment (pallet jacks, lift gates on trailers, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.)
• Documenting DOT regulations
