Local Delivery Driver

About the role

The Pittsburgh Paints Co. is seeking dependable and punctual Delivery Drivers to safely and efficiently transport products from our store to customers. This role also includes supporting in-store operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport products from our store to customers.
• Follow all safety protocols, including pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time.
• Loading of material to the vehicle per PPC Standards.
• Support store operations as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license issued by the state in which the position is based with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.
• Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship (now or in the future). This includes H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visas.

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
• This position is for Full-Time Day Shift scheduled within typical store hours: Monday – Friday: 7am – 5pm; Saturday: 8am – 12pm; Sunday: Closed
