Local Deliver Driver - Non CDL

About the role

We are seeking a Non CDL Delivery Driver to join our team at Loffredo Fresh Foods in Des Moines. Based out of our Des Moines branch, we are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor serving 11 different states from 6 locations.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for accuracy
• Inspect product for damage
• Keep accurate records of deliveries
• Interact with customers professionally
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Drive a 26-foot box truck safely
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally

Requirements

• Valid interstate eligible driver's license
• 21+ or older
• Reliable transportation
• Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
• Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
• Able to read and write in English
• Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
• Comfortable driving in varying weather conditions

Qualifications
