About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Ultrasound Technologist for a local contract job in Boston, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Document findings accurately and prepare reports for physicians.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Ultrasound Technologist in Massachusetts.
- Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams.
Skills
- Proficiency in ultrasound equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
