About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Ultrasound Technologist for a local contract job in Gastonia, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Accurately document patient information and findings in medical records.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Current state-issued Ultrasound Technologist license.
- Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
- Passing score on the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registry exam.
Skills
- Proficiency in ultrasound equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
