About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Ultrasound Technologist for a local contract job in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Accurately document findings and report results to physicians.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Current state-issued license as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
- Passing score on a national registry exam (e.g., ARDMS).
Skills
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
