Local Contract Sterile Processing Technician - $27-28 per hour

About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract Sterile Processing Technician for a 13-week position starting August 3, 2026, working 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure all sterile processing procedures are performed according to established protocols.
• Organize and maintain a clean and organized sterile processing area.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare staff to ensure proper sterilization and distribution of supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a sterile processing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
