Local Contract Stepdown Registered Nurse - $44-51 per hour

About the role

Transitional Care Hospital in VA is looking for several night shift travelers for 13 week contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide step-down care to patients recovering from acute illnesses or surgeries.
• Assist with medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and patient education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia.
• Experience in step-down care or transitional care preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
