Local Contract Speech Language Pathologist - $53-55 per hour

About the role

Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) School Based position providing 100% remote/virtual therapy services to school students in New Mexico. The role is a local contract with an ASAP start date, 13‑week duration, and involves 40 hours per week (flexible part‑time caseload). You will manage your own caseload, set your own schedule, and deliver services via a HIPPA/FERPA‑compliant platform that includes games, materials and assessments at no cost. Preference is given to candidates available during school hours.

Responsibilities

• Write your own schedule and manage your caseload
• Provide virtual services in accordance with each student’s IEP
• Conduct assessments as needed

Requirements

• New Mexico Department of Education Certificate
• New Mexico Speech Language Pathology License
• Previous virtual therapy/assessment experience (preferred)

Pay

• $53‑55 per hour for direct services only
• Cancellations paid at 50 % of the scheduled session time
• $53 per hour for IEP meetings
• $200 per evaluation
