About the role
Speech Language Pathologist needed for a local contract position at The Lowell School High School in Flushing, New York. This role serves special education students in grades 9-12, with sessions lasting 30 minutes each. Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered.
Schedule
- School hours: 8:25 AM – 2:13 PM (with a break from 11:35 AM – 12:05 PM)
- Total billable hours: 5 hours/day (10 sessions/day)
- If a student is absent, the session is not paid, but the provider can make up the session within 1-2 months of the missed session
- Fee-for-service daily pay
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to special education students in 30-minute sessions
- Deliver services consistent with student IEPs
- Make up missed sessions due to student absences within 1-2 months
Requirements
- Must be able to start immediately
- Eligible to work in a school setting in New York
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
