Local Contract Speech Language Pathologist - $50-54 per hour

About the role

Join a supportive school-based team in Centralia, WA as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This opportunity is perfect for passionate clinicians who enjoy working with elementary or preschool-aged students in a collaborative educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to students in grades K–6
• Work with preschool-aged students (ages 3–5) at a single site
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address identified needs
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• Keep accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions
• Adhere to state licensing and certification requirements

Requirements

• WA licensure/certification required
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
• Experience with online IEP systems is a plus
• All roles are in-person only (no virtual/hybrid options)
• Sites will be assigned based on enrollment and staffing needs

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current license/certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Washington
• Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
