Requirements

  • Speech Language Pathologist (Bilingual and Monolingual)
  • Hourly Rate: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour
  • Location: Naperville, Illinois
  • Onsite Position Summary
  • Partnering with a far west suburban Illinois school program to hire full-time Speech Language Pathologists for the 2026–2027 school year.
  • Openings include both Bilingual (Spanish-English) and Monolingual SLP positions supporting students across the district.
  • The Speech Language Pathologist will provide direct and consultative speech and language services in a collaborative, student-centered educational environment.
  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs with strong school-based experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule / Shift
  • Shift details: Monday–Friday following school calendar and building schedule
    Hours per week: 35 hours
    Contract length: 2026–2027 school year
  • Key Duties:
  • Provide speech and language screenings, assessments, treatment, and progress reporting for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and educational standards
  • Plan, attend, and present at IEP meetings and student conferences in collaboration with school staff
  • Support district-wide student needs as part of a collaborative therapy team
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by school administration

Requirements

  • Education Required: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Licenses & Certifications Required: Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language Endorsement
    Required: Illinois State License through IDFPR
    Preferred: Prior school-based experience

Skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a student-centered educational environment
  • Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of IEP development and school-based therapy services
  • Ability to manage caseloads and support diverse student populations
