Local Contract Speech Language Pathologist - $50-54 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment starting October 26, 2026, in Evergreen Park, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in need
• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Illinois
• Experience working with adult populations
• Knowledge of various communication disorders and their treatments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Passing score on the Praxis II exam
• Current CPR certification

Pay
