RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract job in Katy, Texas.

Schedule

  • School-year schedule aligned with academic calendar (2026–2027)
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • In-person services only
  • Shift: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech, language, and hearing services to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Conduct evaluations and determine eligibility for speech-language services
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings to support placement and goal development
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom strategies that enhance communication skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports in compliance with federal and state regulations

Requirements

  • Education Required: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Licenses & Certifications Required: Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (SBESLPA)

Skills

  • Knowledge of evaluation and treatment of communication disorders
  • Ability to administer and interpret speech-language assessments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families
  • Strong organizational and caseload management skills
