About the role
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) needed for a 13‑week local contract on an acute inpatient psychiatric unit at a hospital in Reseda, CA, focusing on geriatric psychiatry.
Responsibilities
- Complete psychosocial assessments.
- Develop treatment and discharge plans.
- Maintain clinical documentation.
- Lead patient groups as part of the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Active California LCSW license (Board of Behavioral Sciences).
- Master’s degree in Social Work.
- Minimum 1 year of hospital experience (strongly preferred).
- Inpatient psychiatric and geriatric psychiatry experience (preferred).
- BLS certification.
- Completed facility skills checklist required at submission (form provided).
- No on‑call duties and no floating assignments.

Schedule
