Local Contract Respiratory Therapist - $45-49 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans.
• Administer treatments such as nebulization, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Document patient care activities and results accurately.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Oklahoma.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
• Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using respiratory equipment and monitoring devices.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills to manage patient care effectively.

Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory anatomy and physiology.
