About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Redding, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services under the direction of a physician.
- Administer treatments such as nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
- Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in California.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Completion of required certifications and licenses.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in respiratory therapy.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
