Local Contract Respiratory Therapist - $38-42 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a 12-week duration starting July 27, 2026, working 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services under the supervision of a physician.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and document findings.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

• Proficient in using respiratory equipment and monitoring devices.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
